Early Life and Educational Journey
Shivansh was born in a village named Garethi, located within the central region of Bhopal in the district of Ashoknagar. His father was an officer at the Government School and lived an ordinary life in a middle-class family. From a young age, Shivansh always found to be diligent in educating him and persuading him to study all the necessary subject matters. It was under this roof that Shivansh dreamt for the very first time of becoming an officer in the administrative service so that he could achieve something constructive for society.
This young man later entered the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for higher school, where he passed his school years. Here, he excelled in his studies and was later named among the brightest students associated with this school and incidentally even with many other schools in India. While some children in rural India are busy with careers of another sort stemming from the poverty that is thrust into their lives, Shivansh decided to go all in and decided that he would not go for any mere career kind of pursuit; rather, he was to make something unique happen before the nation at their level.
“As for me, I always dreamt of holding the most exalted position in the Indian government,” Shivansh said. “Rather than depending entirely on the routine way of writing an exam and waiting for results, I thought that I would rather reach such a situation where my examination would not have to be conducted. This was the officer post by UPSC known as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), the crowning glory in the country.”
The Path to UPSC Civil Service
Although Shivansh’s goal is to become a civil servant, it was not simple either. After school, thinking about advanced education at Kota IIT, he set his eyes on a career in the National Defense Academy (NDA). Just like any ambitious student, he was certain he would be able to get through one of the highest-ranking engineering colleges, for sectional reasoning at least. However, his determination and persistent input propelled him to dream of something as public-oriented as appearing for the Indian Civil Services. These thoughts of his did not seem to be the talk of imagination.
Shivansh took it lightly rather than get into despair. He realized that his calling was not there in engineering. It did not serve the nation by being civil and an engineer. Soothing himself by the meditation of such thoughts, Shivansh got onto the right side of the range. He prepared intensely for the UPSC exams.
First Attempt in UPSC
Shivansh tried his first UPSC exam, leaving no stone unturned. Starting, Shivansh devoted long hours daily to cracking the much-length syllabus. UPSC examinations are known to be incredibly complex and stiff in terms of competition. According to Shivansh, nothing mattered except the dream he believed in.
After being trained at both the Prelims and Mains stages of the UPSC exam itself, Shivansh would no longer need to devote even the least bit of a lot more time and effort to his achievements to aim at the aesthetic. A highly meritorious but topsy-turvy situation concluded in the final interview upright man just got defeated in love at last. Shivansh made sure it did not break him but worsened his motive.
A New Beginning on the Journey
It was an eye-opening moment for Shivansh who tried UPSC the first time and failed to get through, he diversified his path into various other career options while keeping the IAS at the centre for his next attempt at UPSC. He found that while Civil Service was his ultimate ambition, gaining experience in the government at other levels would provide valuable insights into building leadership capacities indispensable to his ultimate destination.
Serendipitously, Shivansh’s very first success became the achievement of some Engineering Services (RES) conducted by recruiting him as one of the engineers. Now he had entered government job service. Nevertheless, Shivansh had terrible plans to slow down. He gave a consistent forward march to a higher level of achievement.
After three months, he had been at it until now being a Manager in the Public Works Department (PWD) in Madhya Pradesh. Already within a few months, Shivansh’s grit had secured him two governmental positions. Yet he acknowledged that his paramount dream was still far off. He always wanted to be an IAS and, thus, give much more to society than the present.
Remarkable Success in the UPSC
Shivansh joined two of his earlier roles and decided to continue with his UPSC preparation right after being enriched with so much valuable experience in both. His extremely strong fighting backbone makes him achieve nothing but ultimate success. In just his second attempt, Shivansh made it to the Mains in UPSC and then passed through what is considered to be the most awaited and the toughest examination, the UPSC Interview, to firmly get into the category of the Indian Engineering Services.
This was a real landmark success in Shivansh’s life. With intense jubilation throughout his house and around him, the vibrations of pride were palpable in his village of settlement. He was lucky not just for his family and buddies after the accomplishment, but his triumph was good news for hard work, persistence, and self-belief somewhere else. More than one unbelievably ardent achievement, he finished India’s most rigorous examination-much in the advanced mode-and in record time he had three government undertakings attested to his accelerated process.
A Tale of Determination and Hard Work
It is a motivating story of Shivansh Sharma, who wrote from his early education at Navodaya Vidyalaya to his UPSC success, the most important lesson to understand how one should roll with happiness. A life lesson is also learned from Shivansh: advancement is hardly an immediate thing; achieving one’s dreams more often than not involves resisting a hard and long set of challenges.
One important thing that was instilled into Shivansh by his father Harinarayan Sharma is the importance of able support systems. Harinarayan Sharma somehow was able to mould the mindset of Shivansh. Harinarayan Sharma being a government school teacher instilled in Shivansh the values of hard work, discipline, and persistence, besides providing academic guidance.
What Shivansh Journey Teaches to New UPSC Aspirants
Shivansh’s experience can enlighten several new and young working souls both students and aspiring to be professionals. Failure is now but an upside to it and that is success’ new identity- it teaches us such things. Shivansh would have given up too easily after his first UPSC attempt by rejecting his interview, but he instead learnt lessons from it and came back stronger.
It serves as another point of his view: Making your posts diverse. So while Shivansh might be set to join civil services at the end of the day, in his battle, he could never forget the importance of gaining technical exposure to other government positions. That helped him make him more skilful and global in his point of view.
However, Shivansh’s story reiterates the very epitome of persistence. In a world where everything gets faster, his success is just another antithesis to this kind of behaviour-through determination, he won a great battle, and he worked toward it for a very long time.
Conclusion
Today there are countless number of young people in India who have aspirations of being a civil servant who already look up to Shivansh Sharma as a role model. His journey spells out the philosophy that hard work, coupled with determination and the right attitude, can help even the small guys reach their highest. Not that hard work brought fruit only at the very end, but instead, it marked growth time, rendering him a servant of his nation in integrity and commitment.
